Highly recommend eating here for a good breakfast/brunch! Definitely one of my favorites here in Lawrence! It always smacks and the service is great and the vibe is immaculate. The pastries like there muffins and cinnamon rolls are to die for! There pancakes and biscuits are my favorite tho. Definitely if you are hungry come to this place and you won’t be disappointed.

If you’re from Lawrence you already know. Hands down best breakfast in LK. On the weekends, they offer mushroom biscuits and gravy which I literally dream about. Might be my favorite breakfast dish of all time. The baristas are very skilled and make all of the drinks with care. The bartenders are talented and creative. The neighbor Brad Bloody Mary which local cheese curds literally never misses. If you like spice, get the pepper vodka. The potato pancakes are spectacular as well. So fluffy and smooth. One of the best fruit bowls in the city. Couldn’t say enough great things about this place. Don’t let the wait deter you. Put your name on the list and take a nice stroll down mass St. Once you’re seated, the whole dining experience takes about 45 minutes. They get ya in and out if you want!

Amongst the best brunch you can get in Lawrence! It's always busy, so you can expect a wait. That said they run a tight ship. The food and coffee were both great. I had the classic Eggs Benedict, I'd out it up there with the best few I've had. Plus the bathroom was clean.

We ate breakfast at The Roost three mornings on a holiday weekend. Wait time was short, staff is very friendly and the food was amazing. I had three different omelets and they all were amazing and fresh. The potatoes were delicious! My husband had the French toast it was amazing with just butter, the sandwiches are huge and tasted great! The Golden Milk Latte was perfect! We didn't try any pastries but they all looked fresh and yummy! Definitely stop in,you won't be disappointed!

Got in; quick seating at the bar. *Service was great, fast, welcoming, and I really appreciated the /latte recommendation! Got the , Benny that comes with s and a nut latte was ALL REALLY GOOD!!

So popular that you often have to wait in line. We try to go at off times, like a Thursday morning! My favorite restaurant breakfast in Lawrence is their “Campfire”: roasted tomatoes, avocado, pinto beans, corn bread, and two eggs as you like them. Comes with a cornbread muffin and butter, with your choice of house-made jam. We love their peach-habanero (it’s hot!). Delicious!

Wow! Who would have thought that Lawrence, Kansas would have the most amazing latte's.... you could feel the love it was made with! The food was delicious, healthy and thoughtful as well. Homemade jams and marmalade, the potatoes were uniquely seasoned and the fruit was fresh. No surprise, after sitting here for a bit, you realize that everyone who works here is lovely! This was quite a find!

My husband and I came in for lunch last week. We each got a sandwich with a side of soup and mac n cheese. The soup has this little cracker that comes with it and it’s perfect for the soup. Sandwiches are served on fresh bread and comes with a choice of a side. In the past I purchased a coconut cake (or two) and some other goodies. My favorite is the peanut butter cookie!!! But everything is flavorful m. I highly recommend.
